Mahindra CEO Anand Mahindra tweeted after watching Gujarat CM Narendra Modi using Mahindra Scorpio that he wants him to keep using Scorpio after taking charge as Prime Minister. He promised that Mahindra will built a high security version of Scorpio for Modi.
Narendra Modi won the elections and became the Prime Minister of India. He didn't chose Mahindra Scorpio and used BMW 760 Li High Security.
SouLSteer asked CEO Anand at Auto Expo 2016 that what was the reason behind. He smiled & said, "For top security, sedans are best suited. SUVs are not generally chosen. That's why PM Modi didn't used our SUV".
